Analysis: Highlights of This Page
A critical figure for many nonprofits is line 26f. The "public support test" determines whether a nonprofit organization receives sufficient income from public sources (versus private sources such as family foundations). The desired figure here is 33.33%, with a required minimum of 10%; Pacifica, at 84% public support, is comfortably beyond the level at which its tax status would questioned by the IRS on this basis.
